I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I love this thing. It has become my go to. I have a cast-iron pan that fits in there and I roast veggies in it. It’s seriously is one of the best cooking appliances I’ve ever bought.
Best sear in the business. But you can do anything on it. Been frying eggs in it. Takes about 2 minutes for over medium and don’t have to flip them if you do them in a little skillet. But the steaks you can make compare to any restaurant.
I have several grills including a pellet grill but this one is my favorite. It reaches cooking temperature quickly, sears and cooks steaks to perfection. It’s easy to clean and store away. I had some issues on my shipment and had to go through their email system for a replacement. At first I was agitated by the process, but they quickly replied and sent a replacement within a couple of days.
Great cooker. Just don't take your eyes off of it. Takes my steak to another level after sous-vide.
It's ok. Disappointed that there are NO (0, nada, zip) instructions on just "how" to cook on this product. I've used a restaurant quality salamander previously - and while this isn't 'that' - is close enough to use it in a similar fashion. It's really just "trial and error"..... more error in the beginning, but it gets easier as you cook on it. I've no idea how efficient it is yet, but the "start up" time is longer than the cook time, so factor that into your cook.
The portable size is perfect for our family of three. We even made pizzas and a tomahawk steak. We absolutely love it!
I'm having fun learning about this method. Its well built, cleans easily and works as promised. I'd like to see some recipes beyond steaks.

I souvide all of our steaks to 130°F perfect, medium-rare. Except they come out of the souvide gray. This infrared grill does exactly what those steaks need, a perfect char!!
Grill only got to 500 degrees f not 1500, it was a disappointment. Sending back for refund

A little bit of a learning curve on the first ignition after that everything works like expected
I was only able to use it a couple of times because the unit shuts off after about two minutes, making a strange noise similar to a blowtorch, which I believe could be dangerous. I brought the unit to Mexico, so I am unable to return it from here. I was very excited to use it, but unfortunately, I was not able to.

I like it but I have only used it once and it worked perfectly. I would suggest an easier way to adjust the grill grate levels. My old one had a lever to adjust up or down without possibly scorching the user.
I have a terrible time getting my steak grill to perform as advertised. It will fire up hot, but most of the time the flame goes out and I have difficulty getting it to fire back up and run steadily. As well, even when it seems to be all good to go, once I put some meat in (I've tried beef and pork) I get flames along the ceramic grate that don't seem to be called for. Perhaps it is the evaporation of fat molecules feeding the flame? I don't know. What I do know is that, while I get an okay sear, I don't get what I would expect of a true 1500 degree heat source. On the plus side, when I use it for reverse searing, I get a much stronger smoke flavor than I do when I use either my gas or charcoal grill. Can't explain why, but it is noticeable.

Amazing, It takes it no time to cook! Steaks always come out super tender with a nice sear in 4 mins (2mins on each side). Hot burgers on your table in 2 mins. We realized that you have to play with it and lower the meats to the second notch otherwise you will have a very super seared piece of meat fast. I like that helps us from running the oven and making the place extra hot in the summer, plus no lingering grease and meat smells in the house.
Restaurant quality sear. It takes a little getting used to it since at first I didn’t realize it would do the searing so quickly. Don’t take your eyes off of it while you’re learning how to use it! I was also impressed with how well built it is and it comes almost fully assembled. The steel is of a heavy and sturdy gauge and for the price is an excellent value.

Love this thing. It’s a grill that cooks like a microwave. I found a perfect cast iron square pan that fits in it and I cook I think all my meals in 6 min on this thing. It’s amazing

The Bighorn dose exactly what it advertises and more!! I was able the make a perfect rare 2' steak in minutes along with the sides. My family thought I order it from a restaurant {Butcher Block} down the street. It's a new addition to my family, its sits right next to my Green Egg, Weber and Blackstone grills.
