Arrived with a small silver dent on the front that stands out on the black unit. Not a deal breaker but a bit of an eye sore. Not interested in going through the hassle of returning it. Just mentioning it for the sake of quality control. Steak came out delicious.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I love this thing. It has become my go to. I have a cast-iron pan that fits in there and I roast veggies in it. It’s seriously is one of the best cooking appliances I’ve ever bought.

Best sear in the business. But you can do anything on it. Been frying eggs in it. Takes about 2 minutes for over medium and don’t have to flip them if you do them in a little skillet. But the steaks you can make compare to any restaurant.

I have several grills including a pellet grill but this one is my favorite. It reaches cooking temperature quickly, sears and cooks steaks to perfection. It’s easy to clean and store away. I had some issues on my shipment and had to go through their email system for a replacement. At first I was agitated by the process, but they quickly replied and sent a replacement within a couple of days.

It's ok. Disappointed that there are NO (0, nada, zip) instructions on just "how" to cook on this product. I've used a restaurant quality salamander previously - and while this isn't 'that' - is close enough to use it in a similar fashion. It's really just "trial and error"..... more error in the beginning, but it gets easier as you cook on it. I've no idea how efficient it is yet, but the "start up" time is longer than the cook time, so factor that into your cook.

Just received it. Have tried ribeyes, found the top was top slot too hot and it was chard. Two days later did the 3rd level and got a very nice crust that was bronze. Next I will try using sous vide burgers.

It will cook a steak quick no doubt! Once it get so hot it start popping and making noise till you turn the burner down(which defeats the while purpose of the grill. Bought this mainly intended as a versatile camp grill- but it’s now sitting next to my smoker as part of my grilling arsenal and a permanent cooking fixture. First cook was a 2”ribeye- had that finished in 7-8 minutes- cooked to perfection- maybe I got lucky but was really impressed how well this micro- broiler works. Going to attempt ribs next and see how it goes. @Big Horn marketing: A laminated double sided cooking guide would be super helpful - with suggested rack levels and cooking temps and times for various meats and thicknesses and finish temps. And then a suggested recipe guide would be awesome. Two thumbs up!
